Corazón Ministries - June 15-22, 2019
Our team will travel to Our Middle School team will be partnering with Corazón Ministries and will spend their mornings working at Healing Grace Christian Church working on some renovation projects and beautifying their campus. In the evenings, the team will host a sports camp for children at Healing Grace Christian Church where they will be able to share the Gospel with the neighborhood kids in attendance..

We arrived safely at our church home, Life Bridge Church(Puenta De Vida) for the week. Once we were settled in our rooms, we split the team into two groups, one to go shopping, the other to go scout out the worksite. After dinner, we got to meet up with the staff of Corazon ministries and learned about who they are, what they do, and the Hispanic culture. At the close of our evening, we had team time which involves worship, Bible study, team evaluation, and an encouragement time. This morning we went over our plans for the outreach. After lunch, we went to worship at Healing Grace Church (this is the site of the work project and outreach). Later this evening, we will go through construction training. Our S Tucson team hit the ground running this morning- got a lot done working at healing grace church, and had our first sports camp outreach night - please pray that we present the Gospel clearly in our words and actions this week! - Chase

We’ve passed the half way point and our team has continued to serve each other and Healing Grace Church with humility and love. We have had steady progress on the worksite (working on many different projects) and last night we had 36 kids at our outreach- some of which have never been to church before. Please pray that we will finish strong and clearly proclaim the Gospel

We finished our last day on the work site and last night of our outreach. It was a joy to partner with Corazon ministries and Healing Grace Church. We finished everything Corazon had set up for us to do and finished strong at the outreach clearly sharing the Gospel with the kids. Our devotion from today was about loving God with all we have and loving our neighbor as we live ourselves- we feel as if we have a clearer picture of what that means now.
