For most men happiness and satisfaction in life are locked up in two words--work and home.  Together these two arenas absorb most of a man's time, talent, energy, effort, and creativity.  Most importantly, no man can afford success in only one of these critical areas.  The good life demands that he win in both.

This study will help a man understand and apply biblical principles to his life at home and the workplace.  It will help you build (or rebuild) your confidence; expand your vision; develop successful life strategies; and improve your performance in your relations with your wife or girlfriend, in your relationships with your children and in your job!

Reach Out Ministry meets Mondays, 1-4:00pm -- FLC Room 101. If you know how to sew, knit, or crochet and have time to spend with a special group of young ladies this is a wonderful opportunity for you. The 3 main goals for Reach Out is to provide young girls with godly Titus 2 women as mentors; to teach girls and young women the almost forgotten home arts; and lastly, to provide those who are more needy than us with homemade necessities. So if you’ve always thought that praise consists only of singing a couple mediocre songs on Sunday morning, you’ve missed the point.  We will be using the book Praise Habit by David Crowder to introduce us to a new way of thinking about praise––focusing on it as a lifestyle, not an event.  We will reflect on the psalms from and explain how to develop a habit of praise in your everyday life.  A praise habit is not just possible; it’s the very reason we were created.  Live in constant awe of God and watch what He does next.

When a woman has experienced the loss of her spouse she finds that her life has to be redefined. Recovering from the losses of life is a challenge at any age but starting over during the retirement years makes the challenge even greater. Moms Connection Open Gym Fellowship

Join us Thursday, Feb. 9, 9:30-11:30am to escape the heat and enjoy the air-conditioned comfort of the gym. Join us for an in-door play day with your children and a great time of fellowship with other moms. Tables and chairs will be set up in the Small Dining Room if you want to bring any snacks or lunch. This is a great opportunity to invite your friends.

A mysterious Scottish village appears for only one day every hundred years. Two American tourists, lost in the Scottish Highlands, stumble upon the village just as a wedding is about to be celebrated, and their arrival has serious implications for the village’s inhabitants. Sound like an episode of the Twilight Zone? Nope, not this time. It’s the Lerner and Lowe musical, Brigadoon, at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre. We are going up to Mesa on February 9th to see their production of one of our favorites, which includes the song Almost Like Being in Love. Tickets are $50.00, the same as last year, and include the bus, a sumptuous buffet, and the play. Payment is due no later than our February 2nd meeting. Meet at the cross by 8:15 on the 9th and plan to be back a bit after 6:00. This is one of our most popular activities, so be sure to make your reservation. 

Hour of Prayer -- Each Thursday from 9:00-10:00a.m. you are invited to join this gathering of women in the Library to pray for the needs of our church family and staff. If you have questions, please call Patti Hancock at 296-8048.

CCC youth present a valentine banquet and silent auction fundraiser.  All proceeds raised from the night go directly to the youth ministry to support summer camps, retreats and mission trips.

Hour of Prayer -- Each Thursday from 9:00-10:00a.m. you are invited to join this gathering of women in the Library to pray for the needs of our church family and staff. If you have questions, please call Patti Hancock at 296-8048.

We meet every other Friday at the home of Dick and Stella Brown.  Call 749-9395 for directions.

What better way to spend Rodeo Break than hanging out with your friends and doing fun stuff all around Tucson!? Some of the activities will be all together in one big group and others will be gender specific activites (girly/burly).  In the middle of all the fun we will take some time to talk about some important issues. For girls we'll be talking about modesty and purity of heart. And for the boys we will be talking about lust and the differences between the "world's strongest man" contest and "God's strongest man" contest. 

We will spend the night at church.  Cost is $50 and includes all activites and meals.

Activities may include:  Golf n' Stuff, rock climbing, cow tipping, eating great food, and base jumping!

We hope you will join us!

Reach Out Ministry meets Mondays, 1-4:00pm -- FLC Room 101. If you know how to sew, knit, or crochet and have time to spend with a special group of young ladies this is a wonderful opportunity for you. The 3 main goals for Reach Out is to provide young girls with godly Titus 2 women as mentors; to teach girls and young women the almost forgotten home arts; and lastly, to provide those who are more needy than us with homemade necessities.
