Tim B.'s Bio
Tim L. Boyd has been in education for 35 years and serves as the administrator of Family Life Academy. He received his bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Arizona and has since earned a Master’s in Education and another in Administration. He was an elementary teacher for 23 years, teaching 2nd to 6th grades This is his 12th year as an elementary school principal–7 years in public schools and is currently in his 5th year at Family Life Academy. Tim has spent many years coaching sports; baseball from T-ball age children to high school students at Sahuaro High School, soccer, football and even some tennis. He has always loved children and wanted to help kids grow academically, spiritually, socially and emotionally. He loves traveling, the outdoors and spending time with his two sons and daughter-in-law–one living in Colorado and another still in Tucson. Tim has been supported and encouraged by his wonderful wife Gena, for over 33 years.
