"GOD'S BLUEPRINT FOR YOUR MARRIAGE AND FAMILY" 
with John and Angel Beeson

This is a two-half-day conference filled with engaging talks and time alone with your spouse to reflect and process. We’ll learn biblical truths surrounding God’s plan for marriage and family as well as how to apply those truths to your daily life.

ABOUT OUR PRESENTERS: JOHN & ANGEL BEESON

John is Co-Lead Pastor at New Life Bible Fellowship and Angel is the Founder and Counselor of Whole Hope Counseling. John grew up in Tucson, Arizona. He received his B.A. from Gordon College. After serving as a Detention Officer in Maricopa County, he received his M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary. He pastored in Princeton for 8 years before returning to Arizona to serve at New Life in 2015.

Angel received her Masters in Biblical Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary and has over ten years of counseling experience. She is a certified Holistic Health Practitioner through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and values being intentional with every individual no matter the setting.

They have two teenagers, Camille and Soren, who bring them constant laughter and joy. The Beesons are passionate about the church, their community, and the call to love and protect the orphaned. They love good food, adventures, and sports of all types.

SESSION 1 - GOD'S PURPOSE FOR MARRIAGE

  • What is the purpose of marriage? Love? Happiness? God lays out his four purposes for marriage in Genesis 1-2. When our marriages aren’t aligned with God’s purpose, we will be disappointed.

SESSION 2 - NAVIGATING CONFLICT

  • We all feel it: the pain of conflict. We try to avoid it, we try to manage it, we get sucked into its power. But, if we have eyes to see it, Jesus invites us into conflict with a new identity and uses conflict in our marriage for our good.

SESSION 3 - BUILDING A GOSPEL-CENTERED FAMILY CULTURE

  • How would your kids or family members describe the culture of your home? How do we draw our children's heart to Christ in an anxious and selfish world? What does a gospel culture look like and how does it bring peace and clarifty into your home?
