Recognizing Abusive Relationships - Tuesdays, 6pm , FLC 101
Teacher - Dave Slay

This class will provide information and discussion on what is domestic violence, what are common signs of abusive behavior in a partner, types of abuse, stalking, why people stay in abusive relationships, and how to help people that are in an abusive relationship. We will also review safety planning and the types of help that are available. This is an educational class only so we will not be offering counseling services in this particular setting. This class is being offered as a part of the Sheepfold ministry of Arizona, which operates a Christian-based shelter for victims of domestic abuse here in Tucson.
