  • Road Trip:James Dobson CD series “Preparing for Adolescence” Purpose of this event is to facilitate a fun weekend between father/son; mother/daughter in which you are able to spend significant time talking about important issues such as physical changes, puberty, sex, emotions, and the importance of making choices that honor God. The destination should be centered on something that you and your child find enjoyable and are able to bond around (i.e. sporting event, camping trip, shopping trip, etc.). A great tool for this trip is the James Dobson CD series “Preparing for Adolescence”. During the drive time you can play through the Dobson CD’s as a starting point for many of the subjects you hope to talk about with your pre-teen.
