At Christ Community Church we encourage EVERYONE to serve somewhere because we believe that we are ONE BODY and that we are all important, needed, and necessary!

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others,
as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms.

CCKIDS

Christ Community Kids Ministry has many opportunities for you to impact a child’s life. You can help on Sundays in Sunday School, Children’s Church, our Welcome Center, or on Wednesday evenings with AWANA. [Click Here] if you would like to volunteer.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Do you love making people feel welcome? Please join our First Impressions team, where you will be a friendly face and warm greeting to everyone who comes to our campus Sunday mornings. You will have the opportunity to point people in the right direction and answer simple questions, as well as just being a smiling welcoming face. First impressions are everything!

KITCHEN

Fellowship happens when we share a meal together! We love having Wednesday night dinners and Sunday morning breakfast together! You could help make coffee, serve breakfast or dinner, or help prepare and serve food for special events. You could even wash dishes to help us keep our busy kitchen running smoothly! Highly needed positions are back-up cashier, back-up prep and server for Sunday mornings (7am to 9am), back-up dishwasher, back-up prep and servers for Wednesday night dinners, and special event prep and servers.

PRE-SERVICE PRAYER TEAM

Our Sunday morning Pre-Service Prayer Team meets before the worship services to pray for God's blessing on that day’s worship gatherings. Please join us if you’d like to participate in praying for our congregation before the Sunday morning services!

TECHNICAL TEAMS

Do you have a technology-based background or curiosity? Technology is an integral part of a successful worship service, and we highly value each of our Technical Teams, of which you could be a member! Whether mixing audio, programming lights, navigating projection, or playing a part in video streaming, we have a position for you. Highly needed positions include audio engineer & lighting engineer. We also need projection operators, camera operators, and video switchers. Consider being part of this behind-the-scenes kingdom work!

WOMEN'S PRAYER GROUP

Our Thursday morning Women's prayer ministry team gathers at 8:30am every week for a time of prayer devoted to the needs and concerns of our church body. If you have a heart for prayer, please join this group of prayer warriors.

WORSHIP ARTS

Has God blessed you with the ability to sing and/or play a musical instrument? Do you enjoy sharing the gift of music with others? We invite you to connect with our Worship Arts Ministry to participate in Praise Band, Choir, or Orchestra. We welcome all ages, experience levels, and voice or instrument types. Highly needed positions: drum set, bass guitar, and electric guitar. Other needed positions include acoustic guitar, keyboards, piano, all orchestral instruments, and all vocal parts.

YOUTH

Do you love Jesus and like students? We are looking for core group leaders to invest in our students. Core group leaders help foster community, pray for their students, and facilitate a Bible study. Our core groups meet weekly on Wednesday evenings. We also need people to run our espresso bar each Sunday morning and Wednesday evening.

VOLUNTEER FAQ

  • How Do I Volunteer? Call the church office or email the team leader and they will call you to explain how their team works and next steps.

  • Volunteering With Kids Or Youth? Same process as above with the additional step of a background check. We have to make sure ANYONE who helps in these areas has an even higher level of accountability. Our children's safety is VERY important!

  • How Often Will I Serve? That is up to you and your team leader. We have an AMAZING volunteer culture so most teams only need people to serve about once a month. If you would like to serve more frequently, just let your team leader know or serve on multiple teams!

  • How Do I Know When I Will Serve? We use a program called "Planning Center Services." You will be added to schedules through this platform and you will get an email letting you know you have been scheduled. You can accept or decline that volunteer date directly from the email. If you download the free app, you can also block out times you do not want to serve to make it even easier for your leaders when scheduling.
