Ixchel grew up in a Fundamental Mormon community in Mexico before coming to faith in Christ. After receiving a degree in counseling at Moody Bible Institute and a master’s degree at University of Illinois Chicago, she has been reaching out to victims of sex trafficking at Naomi House in Chicago helping them come to a saving knowledge of our triune God through faith in Jesus. She is now returning to Mexico and partnering with TEAM to be a beacon of hope to victims of sex trafficking.
